Hi everyone!
I'm back again! Two days on the run. Lets see how long that lasts! Haha!
In yesterdays post I mentioned that I'd used the sizzix daisies die on cards and scrapbooking aswell as for making the 3D flowers you saw in the post. Here's a quick look at a scrapbook page I did using the die.
All of the photo's were taken on days out last summer. I always take pictures of the flowers and wildlife in the gardens of the manor houses that my family and I visit.
All the card is by Stampin Up. I chose the colours of the card so that it ties in with the colours of the flowers on the photographs. The background card is a lovely pastel green, the flowers are done in combinations of blue, pink, orange and yellow. The mats for each of the photos is the same colour as part of the sizzix flowers so that it all blends together nicely.
The edges of the petals have been sponged using the same colour ink as the cardstock. The camera doesn't pick it up very well but you can just about see it inner, paler pink petals in this photo. Also I cut out the title using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the Cricut and raised it up using 3D foam.
Heres a list of all Stampin Up card colours I used -
Certainly Celery
So Saffron
Pretty in Pink
Cameo Coral (discontinued)
Tempting Turquoise
Taken with Teal (discontinued)
Tangerine Tango
Pumpkin Pie
Summer Sun (discontinued)

Hope you like it and it gives you some inspiration.
Bye for now!
